    Police investigate burning body in Godfrey

    Authorities are investigating a body found in a burning car in the southwestern Illinois Village of Godfrey. Madison County investigators haven’t yet publicly identified the body discovered Friday in the vehicle parked on a driveway, after firefighters extinguished the flames. Authorities say they don’t suspect foul play.

    Underage drinking prevention program launched
