    Iuka man suffers fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound

    The Marion County Coroner’s Office is reporting a 73-year-old Iuka man has died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Marion County Deputy Coroner Claude Howell pronounced Kirk Myers dead at his home at approximately 2 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Myers had been suffering from significant pain.

    Insurers say thousands of tornado claims already made
