    IDOT halts roadwork for holiday travel

    Theives break in to Murphysboro IYC

    Authorities in Jackson County are looking into a break in at the old Illinois Youth Center in Murphysboro. Reports state the break-in happened early last week and tools were taken from the former IYC site. The suspect or suspects are believed to have entered the property by digging under a fence.
