A 34-year-old Centralia man pleaded guilty Tuesday in Marion County court to a felony charge of meth possession.

Matthew Holsapple was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 2 years probation after he pleaded guilty to a class 1 felony charge of possessing between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine.

Holsapple was arrested in November after Marion County Sheriff’s deputies went to his home to talk with him about a tip they had received saying he was manufacturing meth in his house and discovered meth cooking and packaging waste.

Reports indicate Holsapple had been the focus of a sheriff’s department investigation for about a year when he was arrested.
