• Centralia teen pleads guilty to harassing witness

    A 17-year-old Centralia teen pleaded guilty today in Clinton County Court to a felony charge of harassment of a witness.

    Kody B. Beigeleisen was sentenced to 2-years probation, 146 days in jail, assessed $500 in fines plus court costs and ordered to not have contact with the victim, her family or her property.

    Biegeleisen pleaded guilty to harassing the victim outside the courthouse following a bond increase hearing for his 35-year-old relative Jerry Biegeleisen. Bail was set at $500,000 for the teen, following his arrest.

    His relative, Jerry Biegeleisen is scheduled for a January 22nd jury trial. He is charged with 6 counts Class X predatory criminal sexual assault, each count is punishable by up to 30 years in prison if resulting in a conviction. He is also charged with criminal sexual assault of a family member. All 7 charges include allegations spanning a period dating back to 2003 through 2011.
