BOSTON (AP) — Jeremy Abbott has won his fourth U.S. figure skating title and all but locked up his second Olympic berth. Teenager Jason Brown was second, with defending champ Max Aaron third.

The Americans will send two men to the Sochi Games.

Two-time U.S. champion Ashley Wagner has made the Olympic team despite finishing a distant fourth at the national championships. U.S. Figure Skating officials took into account past performances Sunday in picking the three women who will go to Russia, meaning Mirai Nagasu, a 2010 Olympian, didn’t make the team despite finishing third at the U.S. Championships.

New U.S. champ Gracie Gold is going to go for the gold in Russia along with 15-year-old Polina Edmunds, who was second.
