ODIN – The South Central Cougars came to Odin looking for their first win of the season on Monday night in a make up game from a weather cancellation earlier this season.

On Tuesday, they are still searching.

The Eagles (7-2) used a big first half to run away from the Cougars (0-13) 57-37 in front of very happy home crowd.

Austin Perkins got the night going in the right direction for Odin scoring 7 of his game-high 15 in the opening frame.  He added six more in the second quarter as the Eagles were running out to a 41-17 advantage at half.

The Cougars defense stiffened a bit in the third quarter as they held Odin to just 3 free throws and a field goal as they trimmed the lead to 46-30 at the break, but the early hole was too much to dig out of.

Odin got good games from Devon Williams and Ike Margrum who each finished with 10 points.

South Central got 10 points from sophomore guard Brett Harmeier and 9 from Chase Riley.
