• Bearcats race past Louisville…12 straight for the Gators

    UNDATED (AP)— Sean Kilpatrick scored 28 points, including six free throws down the stretch that helped No. 13 Cincinnati rally for a 69-66 victory over No. 12 Louisville.

    Cincinnati is 20-2 overall and is atop the American Athletic Conference with a perfect 9-0 mark. The Bearcats have won 13 straight, and own a two and a-half game lead in the AAC.

    In other AP Top-25 hoops:

    — Casey Prather scored 16 points, Patric Young added 12 and No. 3 Florida beat Mississippi State 62-51 for the Gators’ 12th straight win. The Gators are 18-2 overall, 7-0 in Southeastern Conference play.

    — Caris LeVert had 14 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for his first career double-double, and No. 10 Michigan beat Purdue 75-66. That ends the Boilermakers’ 10-game win streak.
