KINMUNDY — Ralph Krutsinger, 85, of Kinmundy, died at 8:35 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2014, at Doctors Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
He was born July 8, 1928, in Marion County, the son of Ira and Alta A (Cruthfield) Krutsinger. He married LaDonna Burkett Krutsinger on April 1, 1957, at Broadway Christian Church in Salem, and she survives in Kinmundy.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Krutsinger is survived by sons Doug and Jeff Krutsinger, both of Kinmundy; daughter Nancy Krutsinger of Kinmundy and Linda Holmes and husband Shawn, of Opdyke; and brother Clark Krutsinger, of Mahomet.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Janet Fleck; brother Francis Krutsinger; and granddaughter Danielle Fleck.
Mr. Krutsinger was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of the Kinmundy American Legion Post No. 398, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War; and he was a member of Meacham Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy, with Jeff Hembree officiating. Interment will follow in Elder Cemetery in rural Kinmundy.
Visitation will be held from 12 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
