A Centralia couple originally charged with 42 combined felony cases and 14 misdemeanor cases pleaded guilty today in Marion county court in connection with a string of fraud charges associated with their roofing business.

The couple, 60-year-old Mark D. Timmons and his wife, 52-year-old Willella J. Timmons, reportedly owned a roofing business in Centralia and allegedly took money for roof repairs never completed or for misrepresenting materials used.

Mark Timmons pleaded guilty to one count class 4 felony home repair fraud exceeding $1,000. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, two years probation and ordered to pay more than $65,000 in restitution. All 54 other charges against them were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Willella pleaded guilty to the same home repair charge as her husband, and was sentenced to two years probation, as well as ordered to pay the same restitution.

Mark Timmons was originally charged with 24 separate felony charges and 14 misdemeanor charges. His wife was facing 12 separate felony cases containing 18 felony charges.
