An international energy company, Titan Energy, announced in September that it expected to deliver further cash flow from its upcoming U.S. work programs, including its wells on what is referred to as the “Kinmundyfracking Prospect,” and on Tuesday included the local site as part of its announcement of progress in oil exploration.

According to a Feb 25 release, Titan lists Kinmundy as part of its growing expansion. Titan Energy has described the increased production expected as targeting  either the re entry of historic wells or low risk exploration targets.

They say further production could come from the sidetrack of the historic Jordan Schultz-1 well in Louisiana and exploration wells in the Kinmundy Project in Marion County.

According to the release, the Kinmundy wells also have potential for a follow-up multi-well development program.

The prospect of increased oil production in Kinmundy is not unfamiliar to the area after a discovery well near the outskirts of Stephen A. Forbes state park made history more than 10 years ago. see more …
