• Jefferson County Crimestoppers seeks information

    Jefferson County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or people involved in a battery and armed robbery that happened in the 1400 block of South 10th Street.

    The offense reportedly occurred on Friday, March 15, 2013 around 0330 hours, when an individual was jumped while out walking the dog. The victim was hit on the head and money was taken.

    Suspect information:
    Two black males wearing hooded sweatshirts
    Around 6 feet tall
