    The man charged in the deaths of four children in a southern Illinois house fire has a long criminal history. derrick twardowski
    Records show derrick Twardoski has convictions for criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, burglary, fighting, driving under the influence and various other traffic offenses in St. Clair County.

    In Clinton County, his convictions include charges of mob action and battery; he also has an active family court case in Clinton County. Twardoski has pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the deaths of the four children in Percy.

    Funeral services for 12-year-old Ethan Owen, 9-year-old Kailey Owen and 5-year-old twins Brandon and Landon Owen will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Steelville, with burial following in the church cemetery.
