• Professional Regulation releases May license discipline

    Sun Loan Company Illinois Number 2, incorporated in Centralia had its CILA license fined $1,000 in May for the violation that the lender did not obtain official documentation of the borrower’s income before making a small consumer loan.

    According to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, disciplinary actions taken in May, also include action against America’s Financial Choice, incorporated in Centralia, which had its CILA license fined $2,000 for violations, such as a loan contract did not state the interest  rate agreed upon by the licensee and the borrower.

    In Salem, Larry Logue had his licensed practical nurse license permanently revoked because he was convicted of a criminal act that requires registration under the Sex Offender Registration Act.
