    A 19-year-old Carlyle teenager has pleaded guilty to stabbing his father during a June argument. courtgavel_1353175955264_328934_ver1.0_320_240

    Kole P. Koehler will be sentenced October 15th. He pleaded to aggravated domestic battery and misdemeanor unlawful weapons use. A charge of armed violence using an edged weapon was dismissed as part of the agreement.

    The June 19th argument between father and son was reportedly over stolen property. The teen reportedly stabbed Ryan Koehler of Breese nine times. The senior Koehler has recovered. A co-defendant is serving two years probation on a misdemeanor aggravated battery conviction.
