The 16,000-square-foot center will open later this month at the VA Medical Center in Marion.
Officials on Wednesday christened the site, which was paid for by a $3.9 million contribution from Illinois AmVets.
The site will focus on treating post-traumatic stress disorder, physical therapy, mental-health treatment, prosthetics and services for victims of sexual abuse.
The center also has a career center and a wave pool for aquatic rehab. The medical center serves veterans in portions of Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana.
