    The village of Watson in Effingham County wants to build a park in honor of Willow Long, the 7-year-old girl who was

    recently found stabbed to death.

    A fund has been set up at the Fifth/Third Bank in Effingham to help raise money for the project.

    The money will be used to purchase new equipment and to rehab a jungle gym that’s already on the property, just north of the civic center.

    Long’s uncle, 22-year-old Justin DeRyke, is accused of killing her and is facing five-counts of first-degree-murder.
