Andrews was found in the parking lot of a Benton business at 10:30 p.m., May 17th, suffering from a gunshot to the head. She was pronounced dead less than an hour later at Franklin Hospital.
During a brief status hearing Tuesday, Judge Thomas Tedeschi gave his rulings on several motions and said he would rule soon on a defense motion to suppress statements made by Lee in an initial interview with police.
Also discussed during the hearing were expert witness reports sought by the defense. Bryan Drew, one of two attorneys assigned to defend Lee, said he hoped to have the reports before the start of the trial next week.
Another status hearing was scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Thursday.
