Clear skies and cool temperatures ushered in the 87th Annual Centralia Halloween Parade this past weekend.
Honoring the theme, “Dreams Come True, a parade lineup of less than 70 two weeks ago quickly grew to more than 126 Saturday night, with 26 floats and 11 bands.
Salem Township Hospital won the prized Harley Queen trophy for its Cinderella-themed entry, while the Bond County High School took first place in the high school marching band category.
The Sandoval Junior/Senior High School won for the combined junior/senior high school marching band division and Franklin Park Middle School in Salem took first place in the grade school division.
