As lawmakers close out their fall session, there is optimism they’ll be back next month to vote on pension reform. pension

A vote during the first week in December is dependent on what the actuaries say about the most recent proposals sent out to be scored.

State Sen. Bill Brady (R-Bloomington), a member of the conference committee on pension reform, says the results should be back by early next week.

That action, however, is dependent on the numbers that come back from the actuaries matching up with the expectations of the committee and the four legislative leaders, says

    Senate President John Cullerton (D-Chicago).
