    CENTRALIA – The Centralia Thanksgiving Tournament resumes play tonight with two games on X95 and streaming at centraliaradio.com.

    Jerseyville (0-1) will open the night at 6:15 with Mahomet Seymour (0-1) who dropped the tournament opener in double-overtime to Belleville East (2-0).  In the tournament nightcap at 7:45 the host Orphans (2-0) will look to make it three straight to start the season when they take on Belleville East at 7:45.


    HERRIN – The Pyramid Plus Tournament will technically end tomorrow, but the championship could be decided tonight as a pair of 3-0 teams will play.

    The Mt Vernon Rams (3-0) will take on Collinsville (3-0) and if the Rams want to put themselves in position to take home the championship, they will have to deal with a pair of “bigs” for Collinsville that stand 6-8 and 6-7.  Game time on 94.1 WMIX and wmixsports.com is at 7:00.

    In the night’s first game, the Salem Wildcats (1-2) had a lead on Mt Vernon on Wednesday night after the first quarter and will try to build on that as they take on winless Soldan at 5:30.  The late game tonight will feature rivals Herrin and Marion at 8:30.


    MULBERRY GROVE – Odin is in the driver’s seat at the Mulberry Grove Tournament winning their first three games of the season, including a 95 point performance in a win over Cowden Herrick.  Their latest came at the hands of Ramsey 76-52 on Wednesday night.

    Meanwhile Patoka (2-1) dropped Sandoval (1-2) by a 72-44 final.

    Tonight, Sandoval will try to even their record when they take on Cowden Herrick at 5:15 followed by Patoka and Ramsey at 6:45 and then the final game of the night at 8:15 featuring Odin and Mulberry Grove.

    NASHVILLE – The Mt Vernon Lady Rams are off and running to a 1-0 start at the 7th annual Nashville Tournament, but a very tough Friday looms for coach Jeff Lonnen and his crew.

    The day will open for the Lady Rams at 1pm as they take on a very tough Massac County squad.  Chris Hugo will have the call on 94.1 and WMIXsports.com.  Then Toby Gullion will have the night cap at 8:30 when the Lady Rams take on Mascoutah.
