The body of a former Centralia man is believed to have been found Thanksgiving morning in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
The Fond du Lac Police Department says it believes it has found the body Timothy J. Nance, who has been missing since Nov. 1.
Positive identification is pending the results of an autopsy to be conducted by the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office, according to Fond du Lac police reports.
Eve Nance, his wife, and Tina Ewell, his sister-in-law, are currently being held in Fond du Lac County Jail as suspects in his disappearance. They made an initial court appearance Wednesday, and Judge Richard Nuss set bond at $100,000 for Eve Nance and $50,000 for Ewell. They are scheduled to make a court appearance Dec. 4.
Authorities are not releasing information about where the body was discovered, but do say they believe it is the body of Timothy J. Nance and are awaiting positive identification.
The City of Fond du Lac Police Department and Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office will hold a joint press conference tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 3.
The case remains under investigation and no further details, including the location of discovery of the body, will be provided until the press conference Tuesday.
