• Kaskaskia College to Welcome Wabash For Men’s/Women’s Double Header

    CENTRALIA – The KC Blue Angels return home tonight to take on former head coach Zach Loll and the Wabash Valley Lady Warriors.  The GRAC contest will begin at 5:30.

    Kaskaskia College (7-1, 1-0) beat Olney 88-77 after falling to Vincennes 102-79 in its previous two games, both on the road.  Wabash is 2-0 in the league while sporting a 6-2 overall mark.

    KC freshman Kierra Graves ranks 2nd nationally in scoring at 26.1 ppg while leading her team.

    Wabash Valley’s leading scorer is sophomore forward Adriana Moore going for 15 ppg.  She had 17 for her team last year when Wabash defeated KC in the Region 24 Championship Game.

    CENTRALIA – The KC Blue Devils are 7-2 overall after Saturday’s 114-95 non-conference shootout win over St Louis Community College. Wabash comes in at 6-4 overall.Freshmen guards Jaquan Lynch and Keith Collins are the leading scorers in a balanced Wabash attack going for 13 and 10 points per game, respectively.

    KC’s sophomore Jermain Ruttley scored 31 and 36 in his last 2 games and is averaging 20.8 ppg.  Fellow sophs D’Mariner Cunningham and Kevin Swanson both score 14 a game.  Devon Rowan is the top Blue Devil rebounder at six per game.

    Game time is immediately following the women’s contest tonight in Centralia.
