• Career Night For Reed Lifts Sandoval…CJHS Lady Tigers Beat Salem

    Girls:  The Centralia Lady Tigers earned a road win at Salem Franklin Park 46-37.  The home team fell to 7-6 on the season despite 25 points once again from Trinity Meadows.  Kaitlyn Maxey had 5 rebounds and Mariah Anderson 4 boards for Salem.  The Lady Bobcats will play at home against Rome on Thursday.

    Centralia also won the JV game 33-19.  Ryley Hammond had 10 rebounds and Elizabeth Ashford added 9 boards in the loss for Salem.

     

    The Selmaville Lady Rockets fell to Central City 45-23 despite 15 points from Abby Thompson.  Allison Baer had 6 points and 9 rebounds while Lacey Jones had 8 boards all in the loss.  Selmaville dropped to 6-8 on the season.

     

    Boys:  Sandoval’s Anthony Reed finished with a career-high 34 points as they defeated Patoka 53-41.  Bryce Bryan added 13 and Michael Cline 6 for Sandoval in the win.

    Patoka got 14 from Walker, 13 from Pharrow and 11 more from Back.

    Patoka won the JV game 41-18.  Jollif and McCoy had 12 each for Patoka.  Kaleb Calhoun had 11 for Sandoval.

     

    Opdyke-Belle Rive routed Waltonville Grade School 61-15.  The Roadrunners also won the JV game 52-18.
