    Granada Classic Kid’s Matinees:
    Free admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Showings at the Granada Theatre, North 9th Street, Mt. Vernon.

    First Friday (Monthly): Free haircuts for Veterans – Centralia
    There will be free haircuts for Veterans the first Friday of each month. It will be held at the American Legion Post 446, 117 South Poplar, Centralia from Noon to 3:00 p.m. Presented by American legion Post 446 & Kaskaskia College Cosmetology Department.

    Are you interested in becoming a foster parent or do you just want to learn more about the requirements?

    Friday, January 23: Spaghetti Dinner for Rick Heck – Mt. Vernon
    Rolland Lewis building in Mt.Vernon from 5-8pm, dinner is $8. There will be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle.  Rick is currently battling stage 4 lung cancer. He is traveling to St.Louis for treatments, this benefit will help cover medical and travel expenses.
