He also says he will also not draw a salary until reform is in place.     Hot air balloon crash sends one to hospital

    A hot air balloon crash in Mt Vernon sent one person to the hospital. The crash occurred at 7:20 p.m. Sunday on east Airport Road, as the balloon was lifting off. One person had minor injuries, according to Litton Ambulance Service, which transported that person to the hospital.

    Centralia library receiving funds for youth services

    The Mondanto Fund is awarding a check Wednesday to the Centralia Regional Library District. Centralia site manager Jason Wildman will present library representatives a $16,475 ceremonial check at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Centralia Public Library on East Broadway. The money is to help update the library’s youth services department.
