Withers Broadcasting, Southern Illinois Healthcare, and StarView Vineyards present our 5th annual ladies only event, Ravishing in Red.  This party with a purpose is happening Friday September 23 from 6 to 10pm at StarView Vineyards in Cobden.

It’s a perfect night for women from all over southern Illinois to wear their best red outfit, kick up their heels, enjoy fine wine, food, desserts, live music…and a few other surprises!

This year’s live music is provided by The Tracy Schubert Band (Facebook | MySpace ) starting at 7pm.

In recognition of Southern Illinois Healthcare’s “10 years with heart”, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s party will benefit the SIH Foundation’s Family Friendship Fund.  This special fund provides emergency assistance to patients and their families in times of need. The fund may cover prescription costs, change of clothing for an accident victim, transportation or even lodging for an out-of-town family member visiting a patient and food.

Free round-trip transportation will be provided again this year by Southwestern Illinois Bus Company.  Shuttle buses will be available at the SIU Arena parking lot starting at 5pm, departing every 30 to 40 minutes. No reservation is needed.
